- ×brandon harvey23/07/25I regularly visit Ace Combat and always have an awesome experience! The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially with newer players. The playing fields were well-maintained and offered a good variety of environments, from close-quarters arenas to more open, woodland areas. Game modes were well-organized and kept things exciting throughout the day. Safety rules were clearly enforced, which made everyone feel comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this site to both experienced airsoft players and beginners looking for a fun and safe place to play.×Some Guy23/07/25Great experience, first time playing airsoft, was with a group of friends in the same team, we all had a lot of fun. Many thanks to all the staff + the other players. The 2 different teams were quite evenly balanced.
Only have a couple of things I would have preferred to be different:
1) The respawns could be closer to where you are playing.
2) The last game in particular gave the defending side a big advantage because they just had to stay put + cover 3 locations, as well as having randomly selected spies on the attacking team.
3) Most people were honest about being shot, but some people were clearly hit multiple times and didn't go out, which could be regulated better. - ×Chris Doe23/06/25Been going to Ace now since 2010 (with a 7 year break)
The site has gone from strength to strength and you’re always greeted with respect and friendship from all the staff.
If you’re a noob or vet you’ll always have fun as the games are inventive and consistent.
With ever changing scenarios you’ll always find yourself surprised by your own ability to adapt especially when you’re supported by friendly players and marshalls.
Come and give it go×Sam Wnuk22/06/25I took my 11yr old son for some bonding time. Never done airsoft before. It was the best father son activity either of us could have done! The site is really well organised, the staff are extremely welcoming, so very helpful and their enthusiasm for their hobby is infectious. We will be back. Excellent value for money! - ×Connor Collins10/06/25This review has long been overdue.
Ace Combat Airsoft is hands down one of the best airsoft sites I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that everything has been thoughtfully put together to give players an incredible day out.
The facilities are fantastic — clean toilets, a well-stocked snack shack to keep your energy up, and a shop filled with all the airsoft gear and essentials you might need for the day. Whether you forgot a mag or just need a last-minute upgrade, you’re covered.
What really sets Ace Combat apart, though, is the staff. Every single member of the team is approachable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure players have a great time. Their presence adds a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience, whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned regular.
Every game day runs like clockwork. From chrono opening to safety briefings and game start times, the site is extremely well-organised. There’s no hanging around or confusion — just smooth, efficient transitions from one part of the day to the next.
As for the game modes — they’re where Ace Combat really shines. These aren’t your typical “capture this, hold that” scenarios. Instead, you’ll find yourself hauling stretchers, sticky bombs, med kits, and even the legendary Nigel the Nuke across the battlefield. The creative and ever-evolving missions keep everyone engaged and push players to think tactically and work as a team.
The site layout is another huge plus. With two distinct play areas, there’s something for everyone. The Crypt and Xlabs offer intense CQB for those who love tight corners and fast-paced action, while the open field and fortified bunker cater perfectly to long-range engagements and tactical movement. As a gas player, I’ve found both areas accommodate my kit and playstyle brilliantly, allowing me to mix things up throughout the day.
After playing across Kent and East Sussex for the past eight years, I can confidently say Ace Combat has become my favourite site — and my go-to. Whether you’re rolling in with a full squad or flying solo, it’s always a welcoming and rewarding experience.
And finally, to wrap up the day, the end-of-day briefing is a really nice touch. Going over the highlights, breaking down the points, and naming the MVP (with genuinely awesome rewards) gives a satisfying sense of closure and recognition. It encourages objective play, sportsmanship, and camaraderie — the way airsoft should be.×laurence waters10/06/25Went on Sunday first game at ace and had the best day
All players are young to old and friendly so the atmosphere was amazing staff are all welcoming and the food was good and reasonable priced
The shop was well stock but sold out as the day went on so well used though the day
The battle field was well laid out with good areas of battle and cqb areas are awesome and fast so good for all styles of play well down ace keep it up 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 - ×Matthew Dann10/05/25Great experience, it was my first time and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. There is equipment available for hire if needed, luckily my friend has spare gear I could use. The games were fun, the action is non stop. You can get refreshments and snacks on site which is a bonus. Me and my friends are planning our next visit. Overall, I'd highly recommend.
- ×C Brooks15/04/25I took four 11-13 year old boys on their first airsoft day with Ace and they loved it. They stayed the whole +7hrs. While I felt nervous about leaving them, the female staff were so capable and reassuring in just about everything; from check in to safety. The chaps in charge of the safety briefing were very impressive with their ability to get them to listen, so I felt less apprehensive about leaving them with (mostly) men with guns! The Ace community seemed very welcoming and friendly and when I picked up the lads they didn't stop excitedly talking. The only (and quite large) fly in the ointment was that one of the lads pistol was taken. This is a poor reflection on the community, but not Ace - who can't control this. So if you are new, ask your boys to secure their things, get names engraved on expensive kit and don't trust people's honesty. Shame but learn from our expensive lesson.×Tom Butterworth05/03/25I have now played at Ace a number of times (which speaks for itself that I like it!). The atmosphere is the biggest selling point here, I am yet to witness one instance of “handbags”. The Marshalls are clear, direct and fair, all of which means that the day is always just what it should be, loads of fun. I haven’t rented from them so can’t say anything about that equipment but Platoon Stores are always there with essentials and will bring orders from their site along with them (so saves delivery charges!). £6 for a hot lunch seems great value too! This has very much become my “home” venue and could not recommend it enough to both new and seasoned players - one thing you do note is the care taken with some of the younger guys there, and the regularity of a number of them there week in and out is a testament to that. Chris and team are literally “ACE”!! - Cheesy but needed to be done!!
- ×Lewis Bennett07/11/24To start, Ace was the first Airsoft site i ever visited and had my first skirmish there, i have been going back ever since, just this year i completed my 15th match at ace and i look forward to completing many more, Liz, Chris and the rest of the team are really friendly and welcoming, the site is ever changing with brilliant ideas of new spots and cover to add, if your a first timer or even a veteran player i honestly can not recommend Ace enough, if i could give more then 5 stars i would it is and always will be my favourite site
- ×Consul Tech29/10/24Fantastic Experience! I was impressed with the Marshslls clsmping in cheaters and being strick specially if you take young lads to the game. We weren't very experience so respected all the instructions given and expected the same from everyone. My boys loved the day out and we definitely are coming back soon.×phil regan28/10/24This is mine and my son 4th or 5th time at Ace Combat, what a amazing airsoft site. The people at Ace keeps the game play fresh with new game modes - they had Halloween zombies yesterday and that was great (they should bring that back next year). The only thing that they could add is a extra toilet or two. Look forward to see you great people again next month.
- ×L J21/10/24My 15 year old old and his friends came back buzzing from a really fun day at Ace Combat Airsoft. He told me everyone was very welcoming and helpful and there was a complete mix of ages. This was their first time but they'll definitely be back. It was helpful to be able to confirm a few things by phone before their first time.×DJ CLARKY13/10/24So today was first time going airsoft and ace combat made us feel proper welcomed!! Had a mix up with the amount of bbs you get in your rental package but liz sorted that out for us right away and I appreciate that!! We will definitely be coming again soon so we can be on track to get our UKARA. All the other players today were good as gold and definitely made us feel welcome and even got some advice. Definitely recommend coming to the site if you’re a newbie like me. Thank you to liz and all the guys there today and we shall see you very soon
- ×phil regan21/08/24What can I say about ACE combat - fantastic place not just play airsoft but great fun with the family (shooting your family members by accident), meet great people that will help guide new and old players. The place is a great size as well, if you have never done airsoft and want to do it then this place is ideal - all kit can be provided as well. Airsoft is for all ages between 14 till your knees give in, and just not for the boys as well.×Ricky Osborne03/08/24It's a positive experience from the start. When you pull into the site you are met by marshalls to guide parking depending on how long you expect to attend. Your equipment is ferried up to the safe area as it's quite a walk. The game areas are quite extensive and well thought out, with old vehicles and buildings. Marshalls "play" on different sides to ensure that rules are followed most specifically shot taking. There are also marshalls around in high viz if you need them. It was a very hot day and they kept games in the wooded area for most of the day. We have not played outside before as always been CQB. So can't compare to other outdoor sites but in my opinion it's a good one and definitely worth a visit. We aim to return but might wait for it to be a bit cooler as my glasses kept fogging up despite the "no fog" ?
- ×Major SnowBeast15/07/24My friend and I come here very often, and have loved it every time! This site isn't huge (but not small) which means non-stop action. Here are some features: -Nice open safe zone. -Well stocked shop inside safe zone, where you can also purchase drinks and snacks. -Great staff and friendly community. -Great variety of areas (A CQB area, two bits of woodland, an open area littered with structures for cover and more!) -Constant implementation of new game modes, such as using vehicles. -Variety of game modes throughout the day, so there is constantly new activity. -A photographer comes in and takes pictures, which you can access on his website. I love when I come here, rain or shine! Highly recommend, best in the area.×Kate Foster14/07/24This is my son's favourite airsoft venue in Kent. It is really welcoming and they are always ready to lend a hand to new players. You never have aggressive hostile players. The site is not too open, but not too bushy, so opportunities to take a shot. He has enjoyed every session he has been here and has introduced friends to Ace too who have caught the bug. Highly recommend.×Darran Anthony11/07/24Such a great day out. Had so much fun .we have been twice now in the last couple of months.cant wait to go again . Me and my two boys love it ..I would totally recommend going to all .A very reasonable price to higher everything you need and have fun All day.. Ace combat = Ace day out .....??
- ×Zee P08/07/24Right, so my review is grossly overdue but felt like now's a better time than never to share my opinion. I've been visiting this site over the course of a few years (2018+ or so) due to its relative convenience and size, having just gotten back into Airsoft having gained my driver's license at that time! It's gone through its fair share of arena changes and a little downsizing, but I feel it's for the better as they are currently focused on the sites continued development to better occupy the space and in its utilisation. They have been introducing new and refined game modes to better accommodate for this and hope to see the results of more additions by the end of 2024 - fingers crossed! I feel they are definitely steering more towards a mixed woodlands vibe to handle more mid-small cqb style games so if that's your kind of stuff, give it a go! As previous reviews have mentioned, it's the people that make up what's rest of the experience here! I can say without a doubt that everybody, be it staff to players (regulars or new) have always been courteous and friendly and feel it's what best represents Ace as a whole. It doesn't have this overly serious and regimented undertone and more like an inclusive family. Everyone is treated fairly, but getting to know everyone on a personal level is easy to achieve and rewarding. I won't go into the intricacies of any minor niggles I may have as they personally do not hinder my experience here. As mentioned, they are undergoing a development period so teething issues may persist whilst things are ironed out - I've always been able to talk so freely with the site owners/team whether it's about life or the site itself, so I have confidence in what they plan to deliver going forward. They are only limited by resources after all (that's the real world for you) In all if you're looking for a site that's easy-going whether you're a newbie or an experienced player, give Ace Combat a go!!! 🙂×Diego Maiorino01/06/24One of the friendliest and fun Airsoft site in Kent! Always attracts such great players and I've never had a bad day there. They've done so many new improments to the site such as adding new cover and land marks which completely changes the game for better pacing and gameplay! I highly recommend ace combat to new and veteran players alike, you won't be disappointed! ?×C S14/05/24My first time at Ace Combat site. Pros: 1. Friendly staff. 2. Friendly players with a good social vibe. 3. Well organised. 4. Good price for a full days game and also the food and beverage are good price too. 5. Strong safety measures. 6. Fun game play ideas. Suggested improvements: 1. x2 large open driveway areas with limited coverage to push forward down the driveways. I would recommend building on either side of both driveways 'Z' shaped wooden fences to allow for players to be able to push forward down the driveways, for both teams. 2. Limited bridges when played a game that encompasses both the woodland and the CQB field, to cross over the ditch that runs along side the long driveway. This causes choke points in the game (a snipers dream). 3. x1 portoloo, maybe invest in an additional x1. 4. A bit of a walk from where we park the car to the safe zone. Conclusion: 1. This site has the potential to have a good balance between CQB and sniper play if they invest in some extra coverage and bridges along the two wide parallel driveways that intersect the CQB field and the woodland. 2. It is definitely worth a visit to play, especially if you are wanting to get into/try Airsoft. The friendly staff and clientele in addition to the fun game ideas, makes it a fun, sociable and welcoming community. 3. Due to the current layout, if you play as a sniper, you will have a great time and get many "kills". 4. If you are a veteran Airsoft player and touring Kent for Airsoft sites, add Ace Combat to your list ??.
- ×Stephen Davis (Silverhill Webdesign)02/05/24We have been going to Ace Combat Airsoft for the past couple of years we always leave happy, feeling like we have had a great day out be it sunny, wet, cold or hot (and sometimes is can be very wet and cold). Liz and Chris, together with the rest of the team, organise a brilliant day of different objectives and the whole thing is managed very effectively (rules are rules). So if you want a great day out, whatever the weather (providing you have the right gear of course), then go airsoft and go with Ace Combat.
- ×Gary Johnston07/02/24Had my first taste of airsoft at this site over 10years ago and have been coming back ever since. Mix of woodland, open ground and CQB, the site has been redeveloped massively, and the new safe zone is much closer to the game area. Highly recommend for both first timers and seasoned players alike!×Trio Well-Being07/02/24As a total beginner I was slightly unsure about what to expect from playing, but everyone at Ace made me feel really welcome. The games were fun, challenging and different every time. I had a great time! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a friendly and fun place to play
- ×Ruth Cattorini (Delta C)05/11/23This is one heck of a great place to go to. I have been here a couple of times already. The site is incredibly organized and the events are well planned out for a great day with all to enjoy as a team. I experienced my first time here a few days before my wedding at it was one of my best send offs! A great memory to last a lifetime, I will never forget (in a good way). I recommend Ace to everyone I know, it's just fantastic! Looking forward to the next event 🙂
- ×Rob Smith05/06/23Well run site, games are usually interesting bar one (i personally find the border control one a bit boring and easy to cheat) Only one criticism is a new change: The safe zone is now in the game zone, which has caused there to be quite the bottle neck on that side of the site. It does create decent firefights but it's literally within touching distance of the safe zone. So then the safe zone gets lit up with bb's and they can either go over the top, hit the trees and fall down onto people within the safe zone. Go through the holes in the metal panelling or go through the roof section where it looks like there are gaps. Which makes the safe zone.. a bit more dangerous. Don't get me wrong, they haven't had an issues with it yet but i can see it happening sometime in the future. It's a decent place for it but i think it would be better if some extra counter measures were put into place to ensure bb projectiles don't enter it. To reiterate: very good site overall, good gameplay, awesome CQB area, nice differentiation in distances and cover options. Definitely recommend coming but i think the safe zone needs some extra protection added to stop bb's potentially coming into it.
- ×1066Kitchen05/02/23Went to ACE combat yesterday and had the best time, it was for my sons 13th birthday and he took a friend as well as myself. I cannot fault the day everyone is very happy and friendly to see you and overall a good bunch. Heath and safely is paramount and the short safety briefing is very good. This adventure is mostly in a large forest with lots of props to give you cover and hide behind. The shots to the body isn’t as bad as you think, but to keep the level of sting down we’re a long sleeved top. Eye and head protective equipment is supplied, as well as the rifle and ammo. The ammo amount is sufficient and we had some left over but obviously if you are using fully automatic John Rambo Style you can get threw it quite quickly. 10/10 for the day and would do it again for sure
- ×Mat Olson05/02/22I've been to site twice now. It's a cracking site the marshals are super helpful with what ever you need. Great game modes, they listen to advice about games and adjust them.. I've got to say really impressed with adjustment. Also there man of the match ? is a good idea... not only saying this as may have won it ? but giving the guys or gals being weather your new or a vet a free walk on is also one of the best ideas I've ever seen on a site.. Cant fault ace at all. Will deffo recommend and also be going back soon in the future... Cheers guys and gals for everything you got it rocking ?
- ×Tom Jaggard05/02/21I'm proud to say that Ace Combat is one of the best sites I have ever been to. I have continued to visit the site of the past 10ish years and there is good reason for it. I've visited sites all over the UK, for both one offs and repeated visits, and Ace Combat has always stood out as being the most professional, friendly and well run sites I have had experience with. The site itself is very unique too, with both challenging woodland areas and open ground fields. They're always bring new and innovative ideas to their games to keep things exciting. If I were to think of a criticism, the only thing I could think of would be the safety briefing goes on a bit, however it's understandable with the amount of natural hazards in the field, such as craters and car wreckage. There is also always a sense of community at the site, and that isn't the classic "I'm friends with the marshal so I don't take hits" mentality! Newcomers are always welcome and are guaranteed to have a good time. Thank you Ace Combat, don't stop being awesome ?×Simon Matthews05/02/21Excellent team and cannot fault the organisers, water tight safety, excellent games. My only issue is it seemed to attract alot of gungho testosterone types with a few moaners. This lets the game down a little. No hit calling etc. I'm not sure how to combat this, but it did marr the day a little. Otherwise will be going back!
- ×John Ashman05/02/20Me and a few buddies from work went to Ace for the first time today and from the get go all the staff where absolutely amazing all jumping in with the banter between groups aswell as ensuring safety and fair game is monitored at all times. The food was just what we needed after a windy muddy morning and finished the day off with 2 final longer games had an absolute blast of a time today will definitely be returning again in the very near future. Hats of the Chris and the team
- ×Luke Chatfield05/02/19Ace is a very great airsoft site for all types of players, the games are very mixed from week to week and game play is very mixed would recommend this site to friends and is family friend if you do decide to bring little ones with you staff and players are very friendly and marshal are also good out in the field!!
